Aloha! I decided to make my journal {mostly} friends-only for now. Feel free to add me if you'd like. I just like to know who is reading my journal. Thanks!

Current Mood: bouncybouncy

I have started doing daily meditations again and I am thoroughly enjoying the results. I feel more calm, relaxed and focused. I also feel so much more connected and FULL (of joy, love, etc). It is absolutely fabulous!! I have missed it SO MUCH!! Not even sure how I began forgetting to do it.

Ever since I started doing it more religiously, I have been seeing a lot of my favorite spiritual numbers – synchronicity EVERYWHERE- and it has reminded me how tapped in, tuned in and turned on I have been. I cannot even begin to describe the winks from The Universe I have been seeing and how open I am to receiving them.

I continue to remind myself that one of the things I would like to do more often is write (especially here) and get back into doing some arts and crafts. I need some creative outlets to focus all this creative energy that has been building up. I am thinking about taking a drawing or painting class or maybe even get into sewing. I would love to find something I can do one night a week to let my creative juices flow.

I have been reading and watching a lot of things that inspire me. For example, I am loving most of the projects that Oprah has been working on such as Super Soul Sunday’s on OWN. So much good stuff going on there!! I also love her Master Class program and Lifeclass of course!!

I have also been reading books and articles that The Universe have been bringing to me based on what I have been meditating on. I will be sure to start writing reviews more often of them.

And to end this unorganized post… Here are a couple things that I have been enjoying lately:

♥ Leonie’s Business Goddess E-Course
♥ Jenny Blake’s How Can I Love My Fear
♥ Gala Darling’s Things I Love Thursday

Thank you SO MUCH for visiting my website, subscribing to my feed, sharing what I write (or share) etc. I love you. Namaste.

The Guest House by Rumi

This being human is a guest house.
Every morning a new arrival.
A joy, a depression, a meanness,
some momentary awareness comes
as an unexpected visitor.

Welcome and entertain them all!
Even if they’re a crowd of sorrows,
who violently sweep your house
empty of its furniture,
still, treat each guest honorably.
He may be clearing you out
for some new delight.

The dark thought, the shame, the malice,
meet them at the door laughing,
and invite them in.

Be grateful for whoever comes,
because each has been sent
as a guide from beyond.

One thing that I love, love, loooove about the holiday season via the web are all the great things I find on my Google Reader and via all the amazing blogs and websites I adore. All the lovely ideas, amazing pictures, crafts, DIY, tips, tricks, deals, etc. getS me so excited for the season full of magic.

Here are some that I am currently lovin:

*LB at Everyday-Dreamer.com has a lovely project called Letters to Love. It reminded me to start writing letters again. I love to write letters and I especially LOVE making cards. One Christmas I attempted to make handmade cards for as many people as I could – I even customized them to make them personal for each individual that got one. I wish I had the time to make one for everyone.

*SimpleMom.net gives you ideas on how to Plan Your Peaceful Christmas. I really love how she gives a new step every week! This is something practically anyone can master and adjust to their preferences and use again and again every year!! I am already setting up a reminder on my google calendar for next year!!

*Barberryandlace.com has a super cool DIY that shows you how to make your own scratch tickets. I think these would make great stocking stuffers or used for contests to win prizes at a holiday party for people of just about any age.

*Doniree shares some beautiful pictures of Fall in Portland/South Park Blocks. Here is my comment I left on her page about the lovely pictures of leaves she took:

This is soooo gorgeous. I grew up in Hawaii so I never got to experience genuine season changes. Well when I went to Georgia to visit family members they thought I was crazy for snapping so many pictures of the leaves. I tried to explain that the only time leaves change color in Hawaii is when they turn brown to die… HA!! These leaves still beat the amateur pictures I got even though I ended up living in Georgia for about 3 years before returning home.

Thank you so very much for sharing this with your readers.

Before it gets “crazy” out there… I just wanted to wish all of you a very Happy Holiday season. I hope it is full of joy, love and blessings!!

Ok, and one more thing… because I like to know what is going on in others minds…

Describe in one word what the holidays mean to you.

“People are often unreasonable, illogical and self centered; Forgive them anyway. If you are kind, people may accuse you of selfish, ulterior motives; Be kind anyway. If you are successful, you will win some false friends and some true enemies; Succeed anyway. If you are honest and frank, people may cheat you; Be honest and frank anyway. What you spend years building, someone could destroy overnight; Build anyway. If you find serenity and happiness, they may be jealous; Be happy anyway. The good you do today, people will often forget tomorrow; Do good anyway. Give the world the best you have, and it may never be enough; Give the world the best you’ve got anyway. You see, in the final analysis, it is between you and your God; It was never between you and them anyway.” -Anyway by Mother Teresa

I have been slacking on updating, but I intend on doing more posts in the near future. A lot has been going on, but I just wanted to share a little something that I manifested. It is not an object of any kind, but it something that brought me joy and I know with all my SELF that I brought this to me.

On Monday I was telling a friend how I did not feel appreciated at work. Mainly because I have not heard it in awhile, and sometimes hearing something makes you feel a certain way (especially when you are a “feeling” type of person like myself).

Well Tuesday/Wednesday I did some reading from Abraham Hicks Power of Deliberate Intent and during meditation put out to the Universe that I love to be appreciated. It wasn’t a serious feeling, just something that made me feel joyful.

Well on Wednesday at work we had a visit from my District Manager and she mentioned how good of a job I was doing and that she appreciated my hard work. She actually used the word “appreciate” and that made my soul smile.

That little bit of praise got me through the day and sometimes it really is the “little things” that mean the most. On my spiritual journey I am realizing more and more that the easier I am about manifesting my desires, the easier they come. I have perfected attracted the so-called “simple” things – a great cup of coffee, the perfect parking stall, etc. yet I know that (In the words of Abraham Hicks) it truly is “as easy to manifest a castle as it is a button”.

I look forward to sharing my journey with all that wish to read my blog and I hope to hear others manifestation/attraction stories as well.

I offer you this video to start October feeling a direct oneness with the Universe. The images are breathtaking and the message behind it just perfect.
